Leanne graduated from The Robert Gordon University in 2019 with a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy. During her time at university she completed a diploma in sports massage and utilised this to practice her hands-on skills. In 2018, Leanne carried out her elective clinical placement at SPEAR, attracted by her strong interest in sporting injuries, rehabilitation and return to sport, making the mentorship program at SPEAR an ideal fit to further her physiotherapy career.
She has a keen interest in sport, having played football from a young age. Currently Leanne plays football for Buchan Ladies Football Club and competed at national level for Scotland at under 15, 17 and 19 level before moving to America to take part in a 4 year football scholarship.
In America, Leanne gained a sport science degree and later completed her personal training and fitness class instructor qualification. She has a keen interest in combining exercise prescription and physiotherapy skills to provide a personal approach to rehabilitation and injury prevention.
