Clare graduated from The Robert Gordon University in 2017 with a MSc in Physiotherapy. Upon completion of her degree she began working as a Band 5 Physiotherapist within NHS Grampian. During her time with the NHS, Clare gained lots of experience in musculoskeletal, orthopaedic and stroke rehabilitation. We welcomed Clare to team SPEAR in the Summer of 2019. Initially she worked in the evenings alongside her NHS work. As Clare’s interest in sporting injuries and rehabilitation grew, it was a natural progression for Clare to join us full time in Autumn 2019.
In November 2019 Clare passed her APPI Matwork Level 1 Pilates course and will complete Level 2 in December 2019 to join our Pilates team at SPEAR.
Clare has a keen interest in sport, having played many sports from a young age but most notably netball. While at Edinburgh University for her Undergraduate Pharmacology degree, Clare played for the Edinburgh University Netball 1st Team, captaining for 2 years as well as playing for SSS team presenting Scotland at home Nations. Clare is currently rehabilitating her own injury but enjoys the gym and Pilates and is hoping shortly to return to Crossfit and playing Netball for Gordonian ASI Netball club.
