Sports Massage - Joe Devlin NMT, SMTO, Dip Health Profession Related Studies

Joe Devlin is a Sports Massage Therapist who qualified in Neuromuscular Therapy from Dublin College of Complimentary Therapy in 2006. He works with clients of all abilities, from International athletes, competitive footballers, rugby players, golfers, track and field athletes, marathon runners, triathletes and cycists, through to those who don't have a lot of time to exercise due to hectic and stressful lifestyles. He uses a variety of Massage waxes all of which are from his native country of New Zealand. Joe utilises a variety of techniques such as deep tissue massage and trigger point release, to add length to shortened muscles. Sports Doctor - Dr Judy Ross FFSEM, MSc, Dip Sports Medicine

Joined our team in August 2009. Dr Judy Ross is a GP with a specialist expertise in Sports and Exercise Medicine. Judy is the Sports Medicine Network Co-ordinator for the Grampian Institute of Sport and has an interest in many sports. She has previously worked as Medical Officer for Team GB at the Olympic Winter Games in Salt Lake City in 2002 and was Medical Advisor for the British Ski and Snowboarding Teams from 1999-2005.

Whilst working closely with our physiotherapists, Judy is also able to provide therapeutic injections where indicated and appropriate and arrange referral for further investigations or surgical opinion if necessary.
